The best rehearsal dinners create a pause between wedding logistics and the celebration ahead. Falcon & Fig gives the wedding party, immediate family, and traveling guests a warm Leesburg restaurant setting where shared Mediterranean plates make introductions easier and let conversation unfold naturally.
Couples and families come to us from Middleburg, throughout Northern Virginia, and the greater Washington, DC area when they want dinner to feel polished without becoming stiff. Candlelight, wine, and a meal passed around the table create an evening that can hold welcomes, gratitude, and a few meaningful toasts.
A rehearsal dinner usually brings together the people closest to the ceremony: the wedding party, parents, grandparents, siblings, partners, and the guests who helped make the weekend possible. Some hosts want assigned seats and a clear toast schedule. Others prefer one generous table where everyone can settle in after the rehearsal.
The main dining hall fits a seated gathering of up to 62. The booth section offers a more contained setting for up to 28 seated guests. In comfortable weather, the patio seats up to 80. The hall and patio can accommodate more people for a standing cocktail reception, but the final layout depends on service paths, accessibility, and the confirmed count.
Our family tapas-style dinner begins at $64 per guest and suits a rehearsal dinner with speeches and a shared pace. Courses arrive for the table rather than as isolated plates, giving guests an easy reason to talk. For a more fluid welcome period before dinner, the open buffet begins at $60 per guest and allows people to mingle before settling into the evening.
A sample direction could pair Fattoush and Beet Hummus with Chicken Pintxo, Steak Pintxo, Sumac Chicken, and Cheese Cake. These are existing Falcon & Fig menu items, and final event selections remain subject to the current package, availability, dietary needs, and the written proposal.
Begin the inquiry with the date, preferred time, approximate count, rehearsal schedule, and whether toasts or gifts are planned. A signed agreement and 25% deposit reserve the event. If you want a signature cocktail, request it at least 14 days in advance. The guaranteed count, final menu, dietary information, and selected linens are due 10 days before the dinner; the remaining balance is due no later than three days before the event.
Build a small arrival buffer for anyone traveling from the ceremony site or hotel. Let us know when the rehearsal is expected to end, who will speak, and whether the couple needs a quiet moment before entering. Those details help the meal support the wedding weekend instead of competing with it.
Yes. Tell us who plans to speak and roughly when. A short sequence after guests have food and before the largest shared plates often keeps attention on the speakers without slowing service.
The booth section seats up to 28 and can feel especially intimate. The main dining hall seats up to 62, while the patio seats up to 80 when weather and the event plan make outdoor dining appropriate.
Share allergies and dietary needs early. We can help curate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-conscious choices, although cross-contact may occur because the kitchen handles many ingredients.
